This is my first pair of hearing aids. The evaluation was very pleasant, and the transition to hearing aid user was easy. I wore them all day almost from the start! I recommend Dr. Denise, and also the Rhapsody “Elegance” hearing aids.

The first thing I noticed when I got my hearing aids is that my world is now a more vibrant place. The sounds around me made me realize there is more life in the world than I realized before. They made my world a richer place, and the world before my hearing aids seems dull. Now I know I was straining to be included in things and didn’t even know that stress was there. My friends say “You seem different.” and I say “Yeah, now I don’t have to work at it to be part of things.” I also didn’t have much of an adjustment period. I put them on and didn’t want to take them off!

New sounds I hear: Birds singing, whispers, tree branches swaying, shoes on pavement, water running.
Things I hear better: Conversations, Television, Choir music, piano, Auto turn signals, Machine buzzers(dryer, microwave, etc.), speech is clearer!

I lost my hearing aids at the beach, and they were replaced on warranty, without question. Then I had to wear my old hearing aids while they were making the replacements. It was like getting out of a Cadillac and driving my old Volkswagon.
